DESCRIPTION:August 20\, 2025. 10am- 12pm Noon PST \nPresented by FASD United and AAP \nEvent webpage \n\nLos Angeles County Department of Mental Health’s Countywide Birth to Five Collaborative Workshop Registration: “Multidisciplinary Strategies for Identifying & Supporting Children with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders: Birth to Five” (with Roxanne Chang\, MD\, FAAP from The American Academy of Pediatrics & Jennifer Wisdahl\, from FASD United on August 20th 2025 10am – 12pm PST on TEAMS) with 2 CMEs available\n\nJoin us with Roxanne Chang\, MD\, FAAP (from The American Academy of Pediatrics) and Jennifer Wisdahl (from FASD United) for a professional webinar which will focus on enhancing care coordination for children from birth to five years old and their families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs). This event will emphasize the importance of universal screening and an interdisciplinary approach. Participants will learn effective strategies for identifying early signs of FASDs\, utilizing resources and improving overall care and support through collaborative efforts. \n\nThe American Academy of Pediatrics is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.\n\n\nAAP designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.\nThis activity is acceptable for a maximum of 2.0 AAP credits. These credits can be applied toward the AAP CME/CPD Award available to Fellows and Candidate Members of the American Academy of Pediatrics.\nPAs may claim a maximum of 2.0 Category 1 credits for completing this activity.
