Celebrating a Family Navigator Milestone: 1,000 Requests in 2024!

Written by Heather French, FASD United’s Director of Family Navigation and Resources

As we close out 2024 and mark the third year of our Family Navigator program, I want to take a moment to celebrate a special milestone: we’ve received our 1,000th request for support this year!

It’s incredible to look back on how far we’ve come. In our first year, we received just under 500 requests. Now, three years later, we’ve more than doubled that number. While the growth in numbers is something to be proud of, what truly matters to us is what those numbers represent: families who needed help and reached out to us. Each request is more than just a statistic—it’s a chance to make a difference in someone’s journey.

At the heart of our Family Navigator program is the belief that every family deserves support. Each request is an opportunity for us to be a small part of their story, offering guidance, resources, and information to hopefully make their journey a little easier.

We are deeply honored to walk alongside these families, and as we reflect on this milestone, we remain more committed than ever to being a reliable resource for those who need it.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us to be part of their journey. Here’s to continuing to grow, evolve, and serve families in the years ahead!
