**Event Postponed** UC San Diego’s FASD 5k to Stamp Out Stigma

September 9, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm PDT

**Due to excessive heat warnings, this event has been postponed.  Please check back for a new date**

Run, walk, or roll with UC San Diego’s Center for Better Beginnings and Dr. Kenneth L. Jones, leading expert on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), to stamp out stigma surrounding FASD. Alcohol exposure in pregnancy is common, but stigma, blame and shame often prevent people from getting an FASD diagnosis and treatment.

This 5K along the scenic San Diego Bay will be held in person at Liberty Station’s NTC Park on Friday, September 9th from 2-4pm. Join UC San Diego as an official sponsor of Run FASD and a Southern California affiliate of FASD United! Let’s change the conversation around FASD, and end prenatal alcohol exposure.
