FASD United is Responding to Changes at the Federal Level

There’s no escaping the flood of news lately. To put it plainly, FASD United can’t escape it either. We are paying close attention to rapid changes affecting FASD funding and relationships with federal government partners. We want to keep you informed during this time of uncertainty.

FASD United is responding in concrete ways:

Diversifying our Funding:

  • We are actively exploring state partnerships
  • Prioritizing our staff by diversifying their responsibilities across funding streams
  • Creating new sponsorship opportunities

Operational Efficiency

Our staff has a few mantras to make sure we are responsibly using the limited funds available for FASD work.

  • 1 thing NEVER does just 1 thing.
  • Everything we do must be visible to the community.
  • We will never reinvent the wheel. We will partner and build onto evidence-based work.
  • Ensuring our funding goes right to programs. Currently, 81% of all our funding is used directly with programs, which is over 15% better than the recommendation for nonprofits.

We need your support!

There are many ways that you can support our work during this crucial time:

Donate

ALL donations make a difference when there is uncertainty. “Unrestricted” funds (donations) allow us to meet our bottom line and maintain our vital programs like the Family Navigator when government funding is unpredictable.

Become a Sponsor

We have been working to create more sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorships are for businesses, organizations, and individuals with the capacity to fuel a program or project they are passionate about.

Share Social Media

We are sharing events and awareness materials DAILY. Sharing a post and commenting goes a long way and is a FREE way to support us. Do you have living experience and want to share your story? Reach out here! Want to partner on a campaign? Reach out to our team!
