FASD Conference 2025 Speaker Information: Before the Conference

Plenary, and/or 15-minute Oral Paper Sessions
A. Disclosure of Conflict of Interest (one per person, regardless of number of presentations). Speakers must fully disclose any affiliation (financial or otherwise) with a commercial or other industry interest. Please complete this form and submit it by February 26, 2025:
B. Audiovisual (AV) Requirements (one per presentation submission). Please verify and confirm if you need additional equipment to what is already provided. To do so, please login to your Oxford portal (where you submitted the abstract) and view your submission(s) and for each accepted presentation, answer the newly added AV requirements portion (AV1-5) on page 2 (click on “2” at the bottom of page and disregard any “Submission incomplete” pop-up warnings). Please complete the questions by March 14, 2025.
C. Speaker Bio (one per presentation). Please review and/or submit your 50-word speaker bio that you submitted during the abstract process by February 26. You will find this under authors/presenters and if you selected a person to be a presenter, a 50-word bio should appear. Please review these for all presenters.
D. Syllabus Summary Paper (one per presentation). We will be preparing a syllabus and must receive content materials for your presentation(s). Please submit your summary on the Oxford portal (end of page 1); see PowerPoint Formatting Guide.
E. Slides (one per presentation). As noted, we will provide a laptop for your oral paper/plenary session. Please upload your slides on the Oxford portal (end of page 1) (in this format: session#_last name e.g. A4_Stockton or B1ii_Stockton) if you wish to send us your presentation to be pre-uploaded to the laptop by March 14.
Otherwise, please arrive to your session at least 30 minutes prior to the session to upload your presentation, or you may do so in the Speaker Ready Room that will be provided (more info to come closer to the conference).
F. Registration (one per person). Speakers will have already received the reduced discount code via email. Please note the discount codes are reserved for speakers ONLY please do not share these codes. All speakers MUST register by February 20 to receive these discounted codes. Register here.
H. (If applicable) Hotel Accommodation. We have secured a reduced special rate of $249.00 + taxes for our conference delegates for our conference dates up to February 26, 2025 (dependent on availability). (Note: We were able to negotiate the reduction of “destination fees” ($25/night) for our room block so please make sure you book within our room block to receive these favourable rates).

Concurrent Session (60- or 90-minute breakout sessions)

APPLICABLE TO ALL SPEAKERS (excluding posters):
Please include 25% of your time for discussion/throughout the presentation. Please be ready with discussion questions to pose to the group to help facilitate discussion if needed. This is required for the conference in order to meet accreditation standards.
