
Training Objectives:
- Analyze how prenatal alcohol exposure affects a developing brain
- Describe the link between brain function and behaviors and challenges and strengths of those prenatally exposed to alcohol
- Identify behavioral and verbal cues with a client that may indicate an FASD
CEU Information:
This course provides 1.5 CEU’s. CEU’s are Category 1 CEU provided by Indiana State statute 839IAC 1-6-2(F)(86). MHAI Stanley W. DeKemper Training Institute provides CEU’s for the following:
- Addiction Counselors
- Social Workers
- Marriage & Family Therapist
- Mental Health Counselors
- Certified Peer Recovery Professionals (CAPRC, CARC, CHW/CRS, CHW, CCHW)
