FASD Conference 2024 Speaker Information: Before the Conference

Tip: If you are speaking in multiple types of presentations, please carefully note the underlined parts so you do not submit redundant information.

Plenary, Pre-conference, and/or 15-minute Oral Paper Sessions
A. Disclosure of Conflict of Interest (one per person). Speakers must fully disclose any affiliation (financial or otherwise) with a commercial or other industry interest. Please complete the form and submit it to the DropBox by March 4, 2024:
B. Audiovisual (AV) Requirements (one per presentation). Please verify and confirm if you need additional equipment to what is already provided (eg. WiFi connection, etc.). Please complete the applicable form(s) by March 4, 2024. No need to submit to the DropBox as we will automatically receive your form response.

- Audiovisual form for 90-minute, 45-minute sessions & Pre-conference 2 (PC2)
C. Speaker Bio (one per presentation). Please submit your 50-word speaker bio by using this template and submit it on Dropbox by March 4, 2024.
D. (Only for plenary sessions) Filming Consent Form (one per person). Please submit your filming consent form to the DropBox by March 4, 2024:
E. Conference Syllabus Materials (one per presentation). We will be preparing a syllabus and must receive content materials for your presentation(s). Please submit your materials in Word or PowerPoint format only; we are not able to accept PDF submissions as we need to format it consistently for the conference. See PowerPoint Formatting Guide.
F. On-site presentation (one per presentation). As noted, we will provide a laptop for your oral paper session. If you wish to send us your presentation to be pre-uploaded to the laptop, you must upload it to the Dropbox by April 5, 2024. Otherwise, please arrive to your session at least 30 minutes prior to the session to upload your presentation, or you may do so in the Speaker Ready Room that will be provided.
G. Registration (one per person). Speakers will have already received the reduced discount code via email. Please note the discount codes are reserved for speakers ONLY please do not share these codes. All speakers MUST register by February 14, 2024 to receive these discounted codes. Register here.
H. (If applicable) Hotel Accommodation. Reserve your room at the Hyatt Regency for a special conference rate of $229.00 + taxes until availability runs out or March 20, 2024 for single/double occupancy. To book your room, please visit here.

Concurrent Session (90 or 45 minutes)

Please verify and confirm if you need additional equipment to what is already provided (eg. WiFi connection, etc.). Please complete the applicable form(s) and submit it by March 4, 2024; no need to submit to the DropBox as we will automatically receive your form response.

Poster Session

B. Conference Syllabus Materials (one per presentation). We will require your original abstract to be included in the syllabus materials. If you wish to modify your original abstract, please upload it to the DropBox by March 4, 2024.

APPLICABLE TO ALL SPEAKERS:
Please include 25% of your time for discussion/throughout the presentation. Please be ready with discussion questions to pose to the group to help facilitate discussion if needed. This is required for the conference in order to meet accreditation standards.
