Join the Movement.

A collection of gatherings around the US intended to build and strengthen our communities around FASD awareness.
What is Move FASD?
Move FASD is a national series of local events, intended to gather our communities for FASD Awareness. Whether it’s a group of 5 people or 50 people, we are inviting local communities to join the movement.
Activities can include anything that gets you moving your body: bean-bag toss, a 5k, a dance marathon, a yoga session… whatever gets you moving!
You can join a local event — or you can create your own!
No in-person event near you? We have two options for folks who don’t have events near them: make the commitment to “Join the Movement” on your own, or donate to support FASD organizations!
What is Our Goal?
To invite new people and partnerships into the FASD community and movement, and fundraise to support FASD organizations around the country.

Who’s Behind Move FASD?

Emma Baldwin
Move FASD Events Coordinator
“Move FASD has the potential to carry a common message and goal throughout the US: bring awareness to FASD.”

Rebecca Tillou
Move FASD Founder & Self-Advocate
“Every step forward leaves a footprint for others to follow. This is how we teach others. Keep steppin’.”
“2025’s event is different, and yet the same. Move FASD has replaced Run FASD. We toyed with changing the name, and I think it will lead to many more opportunities to build community. Move FASD can be a 5k. It can also be a Karate event, or a jump rope contest. It can be a game of catch. Anything thay involves movement. It can be 1 minute of moving, it can be 60 minutes of movement! The goal is to build connections in your community. I have learned the past couple years that community is so important. Without community, there is no support for us and our families. So get out there and create a Move FASD Event! How does YOUR BODY WANT TO MOVE?”
