Christina Rich is currently the vice president and chief legal counsel for the Cardiac Rhythm operating unit at Medtronic, a position she has held since June 2018. Prior to that Christina was the global deputy chief compliance officer with Medtronic’s Office of Ethics and Compliance. Prior to this role, Christina was the compliance officer for Medtronic’s Cardiac and Vascular business group. She has been with Medtronic since 2005 and has worked in a variety of legal and compliance roles advising and supporting the cardiac and vascular businesses. Christina has spent the majority of her career in the health law and policy arena in a variety of roles, including chief counsel for the Minnesota State Medical Association, assistant director of the Minnesota state agency on Strategic Planning and as a legislative director for health care policy. Christina was born and raised in New York City and holds a law degree from the State University of New York and a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University.
