Sophie Sissi (she/her), Media Director
Sophie Sissi, the ever-globe-trotter, earned her Master’s in Human Rights Law from the Central European University in Vienna, Austria. There, she immersed herself in the essential work of crafting international laws to prevent violence against women. Her fervor for human rights carried her to the European Capital of Democracy in Vienna, where she explored the powerful role human rights play in nurturing a flourishing democracy in Europe.
Before her academic escapades, Sophie was the Creative Director at Fair Anita, a social enterprise that empowers women artisans worldwide through fair trade and sustainable fashion practices. At Fair Anita, she spearheaded vibrant campaigns, stunning photoshoots, chic lookbooks, and savvy marketing strategies, spreading Fair Anita’s inspiring message and encouraging mindful, sustainable shopping choices. Sophie’s heart beats with a passion for helping people embrace their most authentic selves. As a proud neurodivergent advocate, she is dedicated to championing disability rights and coverage, tirelessly working to make the world a kinder, more inclusive place, one beautiful step at a time.
