Meet our FASD Family Navigators

Each of the family navigators is experienced and knowledgeable, with their own unique living experiences related to FASD and PAE.

Heather French

“As a parent of children with additional needs, I’ve spent years navigating support systems and connecting my children with the services and resources they need.

Being part of the Family Navigator Team allows me to share that knowledge and experience—helping others avoid some of the challenges we faced and guiding them to the tools that can truly make a difference.”

Laura Bousquet

“As both a caregiver and a self-advocate, I truly can’t imagine a more meaningful role than the one I have.

As a caregiver, I’m honored to walk alongside other parents on this complex and often misunderstood journey. As a self-advocate, I have the opportunity to connect with others who share similar lived experiences.”

Kristen Eriksen

“There is something so rewarding about connecting with anyone who wants information about the subject that I am most passionate about.

As a parent knee-deep in this caregiving journey, it is a pleasure to connect with people who contact us for support and resources on FASD. Our village is mighty, growing by leaps and bounds, and I am so grateful to be a part of it!”

The Family Navigator Program launched in January 2022.

Questions from professionals, self-advocates and family members are answered, directed to resources, and above all, listened to.

Our navigators work tirelessly to document, maintain, and update resources available on FASD and PAE. Take a look!

“Thanks so much, for your prompt and thorough response. You’re the first person in four years to offer more than a quick “Hi. Bye.””

“I am overwhelmed by your response! The amount of contacts and resources that you provided makes this hands down the most valuable information that I have received! I have been searching and sending emails for a while now.”

-Family Navigation Client

“Even with all the information that you have sent I would embrace the opportunity to speak with you and gain from your experience and wisdom. It takes a village for sure and sometimes the village can feel really empty. It is so good to know that you are there!”

-Family Navigation Client

“I’m so happy and lucky to have got you on the phone, I feel like a big weight has been lifted from my shoulders.”
