FASD 2026 is the leading international conference dedicated to adolescents and adults with FASD. In April, Seattle will be the home of global multidisciplinary experts from around the world. As a presenter, you contribute to an exchange of knowledge that connects research, practice, and real-life experience to inform policy, services, and supports across the lifespan. Thank you.

Presenter Resources

To support you as a presenter, this page includes key deadlines, required forms, and other essential information, sorted by presentation type below. Regardless of session format, all presenters should review and keep the following guidance in mind.

  • All presentations must avoid stigmatizing individuals or families and must use clear, plain language appropriate for a general audience.
  • Begin with a clear opening statement that orients the audience to the purpose and focus of your presentation.
  • Ensure your presentation aligns with the content described in your submitted abstract or subsequent revisions.
  • Conference staff will check room setup and audiovisual equipment prior to each session, and get you ready for your presentation, so know that you will have assistance 🙂
  • (If applicable) Stay within your allotted presentation time to ensure fairness for all presenters and allow space for audience questions.
  • (If applicable) Be prepared to adjust or omit content if needed to stay on time. Session moderators will actively manage timing to keep sessions on schedule.
  • (If applicable) Design your slides using a 16:9 screen ratio.
