Resource Associate
Kathy White is a Certified Facilitator of the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Model and a MAPPS Leader. She joined the National FASD Community as a free-lance photographer serving on the production team of the award-winning film documentary, www.thefasdproject.org. She later founded a non-profit in Kansas and led that organization for 3 years. Kathy continues to advocate for those with brain-based differences by connecting with professionals across the nation as the Resource Associate for FASD United. You may also see her working at FASD United events, often with cameras in tow.
Kathy led her state in federal advocacy by winning the support of legislators on both sides of the aisle. She has transitioned her advocacy locally, gaining the support of a senator who introduced Kansas FASD legislation in 2025.
As a military spouse, Kathy manages the healthcare and educational needs of her six kids, one with an FASD. Kathy and her husband Dan, a retired Marine CWO3, have been married for over 20 years.
