Did you miss out on the first few years of the Stars for Starla ornaments? Well, you’re in luck!

This collector’s box comes with our annual ornaments from 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Stars for Starla recognizes that youth with FASD need positive, hopeful messages to counter the negative messages that many youth with FASD unfortunately receive throughout their lives as a result of a lack of accommodations, or understanding of their disability. Starla was a child with FASD, who during her life, felt that the stigma associated with FASD needed to stop. A powerful self-advocate, Starla wanted everyone in the community educated about FASD and how best to support people living with it. While Starla did face challenges associated with her disability, she had many strengths, such as a love of writing stories, singing, and dancing.

Starla’s legacy recognizes youth with FASD for their unique strengths and victories by celebrating their wins, no matter what they are.

The 2024 ornament features “Give FASD a Seat at the Table” on the front, and “A Seat at the Table isn’t a Gift, It’s the Goal” on the back. This represents the coveted Seat at the Table theme that shows how self-advocates have always had a seat and the FASD movement’s goal to secure seats in multiple areas. With a light, winter blue ceramic base and purposeful design with our signature Red Chair, these make perfect gifts and testaments for this holiday season.

The 2023 ornament features “All Snowflakes Fall in the Right Place” to express the uniqueness and meaningful stories of those with FASD. With a deep winter blue ceramic base and loving design, these make perfect gifts and/or testimonials for this holiday season. The back features FASD United’s logo and “1 in 20 isn’t rare” to represent the estimated 1 in 20 Americans living with FASD.

The 2022 ornament, designed by a youth with FASD, this ornament (3-Inch Ceramic Ornament) captures the essence of the FASD spectrum. It features an infinite spiral that transitions from rich reds to sunny yellows, lush greens, calming blues, deep purples, and soft pinks. Along the spiral, planets from our universe illustrate how Stars for Starla will extend far beyond our realm, symbolizing support that reaches to the very ends of the universe.
